25 Non-Toy Gifts for Kids
Many of you may remember a couple of months ago when I was just DONE with all of the stuff around the house. We were being overrun by clutter and we decided to give away half of everything! Now that it’s Christmas time, the last thing that I want is to give my children more unnecessary toys that they will play for a few days and then discard. No, we are not going there again. I am doing my best to stay away from the toys and instead give non-toy gifts that are still loads of fun but so much more useful. There will be no more Lego’s or Barbie Dolls given in this house! We have also asked friends and family not to go overboard and have given them non-toy ideas from the list below. If you are fed up with the junk and feeling the same way, you will definitely want to take a look at our list of 25 non-toy gifts for kids!
On the surface you hear “non-toy gifts for kids” and you may think BORING! But think about it…what is it that your children truly enjoy doing? Is it playing with a bunch of broken toys or is it playing a sport? Do they often ask if they can go out for a special treat but that just isn’t something that your family regularly budgets for? Maybe they’ve really been wanting to learn how to play the guitar, or would just love to go to the movies with the family. I am certain my children {and yours too!} will love these non-toy gifts!
