Valentine’s cards for the classroom is one are I wish I were on top of each year, but alas I am not. I always mean to be on it, and crafting something cute, but somehow between the Christmas season and the January purging and cleaning, I run out of time.

We love to celebrate Valentine’s day as a family, especially with our Valentine’s Day scavenger hunt, and we really enjoy fun Valentine’s Day crafts but every year I have it on the calendar to let the kids make their own Valentine’s and every year we some how can’t manage to get around to it.

And taking four kids to the store to choose there own store bough Valentine’s might take just as much time as crafting our own! Not to mention the cost – have you seen the cost of a box of store bought Valentine’s these days? And of course they come in packs of something like 18 when you have 20 children in the class, forcing you to buy at least two boxes per child.
