One of our Summer Bucket list items is; Visit a Museum. The Wunderkids love exploring museums, from the Smithsonian to the San Diego History Center, if there are artifacts and information on display, it is a sure hit with them. And I love how fun and educational a trip to a museum is, especially when it’s Free!
Each Tuesday of the month Balboa Park hosts FREE entrance to certain museums. We have been able to visit the San Diego History Center and the Veterans Memorial Museum. This summer I can’t wait to go back and check out the Science Center, Natural History Museum, Air and Space Museum and SO many more!
Balboa park is a beautiful place full of art and culture. After visiting the museums be sure you take a stroll through the gardens, stop to play at the park, or hop on the miniature train. Pack a picnic and enjoy the day!

Normal museum prices in effect. The Timken Museum of Art is always free.
