The season of Christmas – the season of decorating, of family, of baking cookies, of giving. I am always looking for simple, meaningful gifts to give during the Holiday Season. Many of our friends and neighbors also have children, and they will be doing some baking with them this December which is why I love this easy Cookie Mix Ornament gift to make and give!
A holiday gift like this is giving in two – you are gifting a fun treat but also a wonderful family experience. It is so easy to make you can put together these cookie mix ornaments for each of your friends, neighbors, or teachers. It takes jut a few materials and 5 minutes of your time and you have an adorable gift to give.
Cookie Mix Ornament
What you need:
- Large plastic craft ornament
- Ribbon
- Printable Gift Tags
- 6.5 oz package of Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix (this is not sponsored but this is the exact mix that I used – the gift tags have the ingredients listed on them that go to this specific mix)
- Holiday baking bits
- Funnel
Directions:
Wash and dry the craft ornament. I only do this because food is being put into it. Make sure it is completely dry, though, or you cookie mix with start sticking together.
Using your funnel, fill the ornament with the cookie mix. Add 1/4-1/2 cup of the holiday baking bits.
Seal your ornament and tie on the tag and a ribbon.
DONE!
