Well if you loved our recent recipe for Crock Pot Chicken & Stuffing then your will definitely enjoy this one!  This crock pot pulled bbq chicken has only 3 ingredients, takes about 5 minutes to put together, and you family will surely enjoy the end result!

We typically serve our pulled bbq chicken on a bun as a sandwich with a side of fries or coleslaw, but I often end up with leftover chicken as well.  One of our favorite ways to use the leftovers is with some tortilla chips and cheese to make tasty BBQ chicken nachos!

You can certainly make this recipe ahead of time and use it however you’d like.  It’s a great freezable meat also, once it is finished cooking.  I like to keep portions of it in freezer bags so I can pull it out for a quick meal!

Crock Pot Pulled BBQ Chicken

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 bottle of BBQ Sauce (it doesn’t matter which brand so use your favorite!)
  • 1 1/2 cups of cola (recipe as shown used pepsi, but you can use what you like here as well – I have made this with coke, pepsi, and Dr. Pepper)
  • 4 large boneless skinless chicken breasts

DIRECTIONS:

Place your chicken breasts into the bottom of your crock pot (mine is a 6qt oval pot).  Dump in your BBQ sauce and cola.  Cook on low 6-8 hrs.  Shred your chicken and serve!

Just a standard size bottle of BBQ sauce is fine. I tend to buy whatever brand is on sale so they may vary by an ounce or two and that's ok.
