A month ago I was starting to plan a pumpkin patch party for Wunderbaby, then I got an email from Disney about their Halloween Celebration on certain nights in October. As I read through the list, one of the nights this celebration was happening was ON Pixis birthday. With discounted ticket prices I decided to scrap the whole pumpkin patch party and take the kids to Disneyland instead!
Mickey’s Halloween Party made the perfect Birthday gift/pary for my littlest Princess. Here are some of the highlights from the night.
We started with a little pre-party in the hotel room where Pixi could opend a few gifts from myslef and her Gigi. All Disney themed, of course!
When we got into the park we headed to her favorite ride: It’s a Small World. As we were walking up to the line, the Disney Attendant says “And there’s NO line so it’s sort of MAGICAL!” Boy was she right!
My sweet little girl love’s Dollies and She loves to dance….so it is quite fitting that she dance her way through the ride. Here a video clip that will make your heart smile 🙂

The evening was full of fun and enchantment. Everyone was able to experience some firsts (Pixi rode Dumbo, Peyton went on the Matterhorn with Gigi, and we ALL went in the Haunted Mansion) and we didn’t wait longer than 10 minutes for any ride! The tickets to Mickey’s Halloween Party are limited so it meant fewer people and hardly any waiting.
Waiting in line for Pinochio. Sporting her Special Birthday outfit and her “Happy Birthday” Button from Disneyland. If you are every there stop in at the City Hall and get your “Happy Birthday”, “First Visit”, or “I’m Celebrating” button.
The Birthday Party! Wearing their Custom Mickey Shirts from Too Tutu Cute (aka~ ME). Please excuse Wunderboy….I think his goal is to look absolutely ridiculous in every picture.
We stopped for a Birthday Dinner at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe on Main Street, and just happened to be able to see the parade go by while we ate! And don’t forget the Brithday Cake….you can’t have a Party without a cake!
A Mickey Mouse Holiday Cupcake ($4.99 at the Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe) with a #2 Candle that I brought from home.
We all sang Happy Birthday (she’s afraid of the candle) and those eating around us clapped for her afterward. It was SO perfect!
After Dinner and Cake it was time to change into our costumes and have some fun at Mickey’s Halloween Party!
We had Rapunzel with us…
And Batman…
and of couse, the cutest little Cinderella ever! (yes, I know, I’m totally gushing over my own kid)
They had a fantastic time Trick or Treating through the park. There were candy stations everywhere but they had plenty (they were filling the bags by the handful) just from the trail through Critter Country.
We found an awesome Space Jam Dance Party over in Tomorrow Land
Where Pixi made a friend
And Batman Showed off his dance moves~ apparently he likes to break dance
They all had so much fun rockin’ out!
After the dance party we moved on to some more favorite rides like Finding Nemo and Pirates of the Caribean, Dumbo and the Carousel!
Even though she may not remember most of this, she had the time of her life! Seeing the joy and amazement in her eyes was definitley worth the trip. It was a wonderful celebration for the whol family!
