We have been opening one gift on Christmas Eve for as long as I can remember. It is always our Christmas Jammies, and I have continued the tradition with my Children.
This year we are doing our gift a little different and I have have wrapped on big Christmas Eve Box for the three of them to open after church.
But there’s a catch…early in December we talked about the Christmas Spirit, Christmas Magic, and the true meaning of Christmas. To help them prepare for Christmas and actively participate in the Advent Season, we created a Jar of Christmas Magic. The goal is to fill the jar by Christmas Eve, and if they do, they will unlock this special gift! Now for the big reveal….what’s in the Christmas Eve Box?! Of course they will be getting their Christmas Jammies, but I’ve also added a gingerbread kit (we always make a gingerbread house on Christmas Eve), a Christmas movie, popcorn tubs, book, coloring books, Christmas Bingo game (found at the dollar tree), hot cocoa and some fun cups. Everything they need for a snuggly evening with the family.
