My family loves to eat Yogurt Parfait – we eat them so often that keeping Yoplait Yogurt in the fridge has become a staple around here. When you think of a yogurt parfait you might be thinking a great breakfast idea, but this recipe with frozen berries is a dessert favorite around here! Frozen Berry Yogurt Parfait is easy, delicious, and fun for the kids to make themselves. Just a few ingredients and you have a quick, healthy desert.
We love to make these for an after school treat or serve them at a party. If you are needing a fun, healthy, dessert recipe that involves little work on your part, you have go to try them.
I like to use Yoplait Yogurt cups for this dessert. Yoplait yogurt is easy to find at your local Walmart retailer and you can choose from a wide selection of flavors in the original, light, or greek varieties – something to please everyone! Using Yoplait Yogurt is a healthier alternative to many desert recipes, making it something you don’t feel guilty serving your your kids.
Frozen Berry Yogurt Parfait
- Yoplait Yogurt (we like original vanilla but you can add a variety of whichever you prefer)
- Frozen Berries (choose a variety of strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries)
We set this up as a make your own dessert station. Fill jars or bowls with the individual ingredients and place the Yoplait Yogurt cups out along with them. Invite your family or your guests to serve themselves, designing the dessert just for them! Everyone gets to make their own and enjoy a special treat.
Yummm! Healthy snacking and a a healthy dessert! What would you put in your frozen berry yogurt parfait? Would you keep it original with Vanilla yogurt or be daring and add something different?
