Frugal living Tips that Can Save You Thousands
Check your Food Budget
The first thing we did when cutting out wasted money was look at our food budget. We were spending so much extra money each week on food that was being wasted or could have been used up in another dish or lunch.
The first thing that needs to be done when changing your food budget is starting a weekly menu plan. Just by planning out your weekly dinner menu you can cut down a huge amount of your food budget each week.

Make Coffee at Home
Purchase a good insulated coffee mug and make your coffee at home. The average cup of regular coffee is $2-3. You can take it to go and easily save yourself up to $60/month (or $720/year)
Take a Sack Lunch
The average fast food meal costs roughly $8, a restaurant meal with drink is closer to $20. If you are purchasing your lunch every day that adds up to $180-$400/month!!! By taking a sack lunch instead you would be pocketing all of that cash!
Get rid of Your Gym Membership
I am a huge advocate of healthy living but gym memberships are EXPENSIVE, especially if you have childcare added on. On average, that gym membership costs $50/month or $600/year. Ditch the gym and opt for a home workout program instead – it will cost you a fraction of the gym membership!
