You all KNOW how much I just LOVE my crock pot. If it weren’t for slow cooking I’d have a hard time getting dinner on the table every night during the week and it is so important to me to have a hot meal ready for my family every night! As many of you know, with four kids in various after school activities it is not always possible to cook dinner when you need to, the crock pot is my favorite tool for helping me out on the really busy nights.
Four kids also means lots of different pallets and picky eaters. Thankfully most of my children are pretty good at eating what I serve, but I have found that simple is usually better. These kid approved crock pot recipes are simple, take just a few ingredients and the whole family will enjoy them! So break at that crock pot and get slow cooking!
Kid Approved Crock Pot Recipes
Most of these recipes are chicken dishes. Most kids aren’t too adventurous in their meat choices and I always have chicken breasts on hand. We are experimenting with a few other meats in our slow cooker, and even some dessert recipes, but I’ll save those recipes for another post on another day. For now I hope you and your family enjoy this selection of crock pot recipes and find some new meals that you all enjoy.
Pulled BBQ Sandwiches (this one you can make with either chicken or pork)
