When I was little there are two things I specifically remember my mom doing to make my school days memorable.  She would always say cheesy lines while dropping off like, “have a marvelous Monday!” and she would slip the occasional napkin note into our lunchbox.  Now with my children in school, I carry on those traditions.  I tell them to have a “Terrific Tuesday” and they giggle and roll their eyes much like I imagine I did to my mom.  I slip the occasional napkin note into their lunchbox to let them know I’m thinking about them and the love it.

This year I’ve decide to make a few fun printables with pre-written Lunchbox Notes.  I just HAD to stick with our silly tradition of obnoxious alliteration and I made these fun Days of the Week cards.

My oldest is 8 and going into the 3rd grade. For those days when she needs a little something extra I put together these Affirmation Lunch box notes. Confidence and strength are qualities that every girl should have, and one way to help them with that is by telling them.

And then there is my little dude.  He LOVES getting notes from Mama BUT would not want anything mushy put into his lunch box.  Just for the little guys (those ones who are all about superheroes, sports, and legos) I put together this set of lunch box notes.  They are pretty much like saying “I love you” in obnoxious boy code 🙂

These are great! And I think the girl notes and easily be made into boy notes. Great messages for either one.

definitely, the "boy" ones could really work for girls too, but since I made them with my own littles in mind I titled them that way. something for everyone :)
