Have some 4th of July fun with these Patriotic Red, White, and Blue Crafts and Activities
The week of the 4th of July is one of my favorites ALL YEAR! In fact, our Independence Day is my second favorite Holiday – second of course, only to Christmas!
We celebrate big! Everything we eat, drink, wear, and play with is RED, WHITE, and BLUE!
This week we are giving you a bonus week to the Summer Camp at Home series – full of 4th of July and Patriotic crafts and activities. If you’re not following along yet and need some great ideas for kids entertainment this Summer be sure to join the Summer Camp at Home facebook group for daily inspiration and ideas.
Summer Camp at Home: USA Week
To help you enjoy your holiday with the kids I’ve put together some of our favorite 4th of July and patriotic activities – each day something new or you can do them all at your own pace.
MONDAY
The 4th of July isn’t complete without a patriotic outfit. Create your own fireworks shirts using a straw blowing painting technique!
TUESDAY
Make ribbon wands and put together a Patriotic Goodie bag to share with your friends while they’re waiting for the fireworks to start.
WEDNESDAY
Make a magical Patriotic Punch and explore the science behind why the colors layer instead of mixing together! The kids will be WOW’d by this one.
THURSDAY
Get the kids in the kitchen and bake up some goodies. We love these No Dye Red, White, and Blue cookies!
FRIDAY
Learn all about the history of the American Flag and Create a giant handprint flag to display.
I hope you all enjoy your Holiday week with your Family! We can’t wait for the fireworks!!
