Print your own Valentine’s Day cards! Boys and Girls alike will love these Solar System printable Valentine’s Day Cards
We love celebrating Valentine’s Day with the whole family. The kids enjoy special Valentine’s Day treats and enjoy our special tradition of the Valentine’s Day scavenger hunt!
Every year the kids classrooms are abuzz with excitement as the children create boxes to hold their Valentine cards and pass out Valentine’s to their friends.
Over the years we’ve done everything from make our own valentines out of doilies and glitter to the store bought candy suckers and conversation hearts. Each year is a little different depending on the age of the child and what their interests are.
Many schools now request candy-free Valentine’s be passed out in the schools which can get tricky when purchasing Valentine cards from the stores. Many of the store bought Valentine’s come with a candy attached.
It can also become quite expensive to buy store bought Valentine’s, especially if you have 4 kids participating in class Valentine’s Day parties! I’ve even had my children ask to buy two separate types of Valentine’s Day cards, one for the boys in the class and one for the girls – talk about it adding up fast!
You can save yourself a bit of money by creating your own Valentine’s cards at home and if you just don’t have the time to be crafting something, this is a great printable option!
I love these solar system printable Valentines cards because they work for both boys and girls! And all you need to do is print them out, cut along the dotted lines and have the children sign their names on the back.
Easy Peasy!
I definitely recommend printing these on card stock or a heavy weight paper, though. You can always print on regular copy paper but the card stock will hold up much better when your child is passing them out to their friends.
