Super fun Oral Health Activities for Kids
Once you’ve chosen your dental plan and have made that first appointment, it’s important to teach the little ones how to keep their mouthes healthy. These oral health activities for kids are a great way for them to learn about oral health and practice brushing!
You can start off by teaching them the anatomy of the mouth with a printable. Then have them make some fun teeth crafts like this parts of a tooth craft or building a mouth and teeth model out of paper and marshmallows. This mouth model made from egg cartons is fun too!
Once the kids have learned about their mouths and teeth you can have them practice keeping their teeth clean with some fun activities.
Have them use this template to brush the paint off of the teeth or this awesome tooth brushing science experiment.
Don’t forget to teach them how to floss too! You can do that with this lego and play dough flossing activity.
Play this happy tooth game and sort foods that are good and bad for your teeth.
Little ones always enjoy learning with songs and videos, too!
You can also make sure they are spending enough time on their teeth brushing with a DIY tooth brushing timer.
I hope you enjoy these fun oral health activities for kids and don’t forget to check out Spirit Dental’s open enrollment!
