So with the Super Bowl and all I got down and dirty in the kitchen….that is, nothing I cooked was even remotely healthy! But, I did serve the perfect Slider yesterday and now I’m sharing the recipe. And it is so super easy you won’t even believe it!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet Lipton Onion Soup mix
- 1/4 cup beer
- 10 King’s Hawaiin Rolls cut in half
Knead all ingredients in a bowl using your hands. Sure you could use a spoon, but it won’t mix as well, and it won’t qualify as getting down and dirty in the kitchen. Break off small amounts of the mixture and form into 2″ patties. How do you know they’re two inches? I like to smoosh mine into a muffin tin when I’m done so they hold their shape.
You can keep these in the fridge like this until you’re ready to cook them up. You are going to grill these puppies on Medium flipping once, until cooked through. Remember they’re small so they don’t take long to cook. When they’re just about done you can top them with your favorite cheese to melt. Serve on a King’s Hawaiin Roll. Recipe makes about 10.
