I have previously talked about the importance of Meal Planning and have provided easy to print calendars to help you get organized. So many of you commented that you love the idea of Meal Planning but often forget or run out of time. Trust me, I can totally relate! Since I DO meal plan 99% of the time I thought I’d make it even easier for you all and provide you with OUR weekly dinner menu, links to recipes, AND even a shopping list! If you want to make sure you never miss a menu be sure and sign up for our weekly newsletter:
For the week of August 4th-10th here is your Menu:
- MONDAY: Chicken Broccoli Alfredo with fettuccini
- TUESDAY: Breakfast for Dinner* (pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit)
- WEDNESDAY: Crock Pot Enchiladas**
- THURSDAY: BBQ Pulled Chicken Sandwhiches and Fries with Salad
- FRIDAY: Crock Pot Sausage and Peppers
- SATURDAY: Grilled Chicken Thighs with Corn on the Cob and Salad***
- SUNDAY: Rotini with Meat Sauce, Garlic Bread, and Salad****
For the next few weeks I am using a lot of crock pot freezer meals. We have very busy evenings and it is one of the easiest ways to still feed my family a good meal. By planning my meals I make sure that they are eating right even when we don’t get home until late in the evening, and it saves me time, money, and dishes!
*you can use your favorite pancake or waffle recipe here. My go to is always the one posted but I swap out whole wheat flour.
** substituted Corn tortillas for flour in the recipe. It was delicious!
***I do not have a specific recipe for this one. Use your favorite sauce or marinade.
****to make your own garlic bread slice 1 loaf of French bread lengthwise in half. Melt 1 stick of butter and spread evenly on both halves. Top with minced garlic and broil lightly until toasted
