We all want the very best for our children, right from the beginning. We do our research and make decisions, wanting them to have the best care, and especially the best nutrition.
All of my children have had milk and soy protein allergies as infants which means I had to be extra careful about what I fed them when we were starting solids. As I began researching, it was amazing how many “extras” were added to some of the baby foods out there. As a new mom, it was all overwhelming but now as a mom of four I know exactly what to look for in choosing Baby’s first foods.
If your child is like any of mine, you will need to check for hidden allergens. The ingredient list should ONLY list ingredients that actually make sense. Natural foods, not additives. Sprout Organics is the Only baby/toddler food brand that doesn’t use acid preservatives (e.g. citric acid, ascorbic acid or lemon juice concentrate) which can upset baby’s system
You want quality and in this day and age you get quality when you choose organic. Organic foods have been grown free of harmful chemicals and haven’t been genetically modified. You also want to look at what preserviatives are added to the foods. Sprout Organics is USDA certified organic, Non GMO, and the only baby/toddler food with no additives, fillers or flavors in any of its recipes.
With many of today’s families being on the go, convenience is key. So when looking for baby’s first foods you might also want to check out how easily accessible it is. Will it pack nicely? Is it easy to take in the diaper bag? I love the convenient pouch, which is BPA free, that the Sprout Organics baby/toddler foods are packaged in.
I have found Sprout Organics baby foods, toddler purees, and snacks at my local Albertsons.
A great selection of products was available and I’m happy to serve these to my children, knowing that they are made with only the best ingredients!
