There’s nothing better than a good old fashioned art project to turn into a gift for Father’s Day! This Project is super easy, perfectly cheesy, and totally budget friendly (all supplies cost under $10).
To start, all you need is a plain T-shirt, fabric paint, and a sponge brush (all of which you can pick up at any fabric or craft store).
Spread the shirt out on a flat surface and place a piece of cardboard or paper bag in between layers.
Paint the child’s hands and place them on the shirt to leave their handprint. Then write ‘Best Daddy, Hands Down!” with squeezable fabric paint or you could use fabric markers. Let the shirt dry for a couple of hours and that’s it…your done! It’s great to have a gift made by the kids and best of all you have their handprints to document them at that age.
*another idea, for a little comedy, is to do footprints instead and write ” (child’s name) walks all over me”
