Now that school is out we are getting ready for a family road trip. I have started the process of getting everything organized and planned and wanted to share with you one of my car “must haves”. The Mom’s Emergency Kit is great for both road trips and everyday use. I store mine under the front driver’s seat so it’s always ready!
The Mom’s Emergency kit is a clear plastic shoebox sized tub with a lid. Inside I keep everything that we might need while in the car.
- wet ones
- baby wipes
- hand sanitizer
- tissues
- trash bags
- extra straws, forks, and spoons
- small first aid kit
It is also a good idea to add some Ibuprofen for yourself (for those sudden kiddie song induced headaches) and if your child has allergies this is a great place to keep some Benadryl. I am also adding an extra tube of sunscreen for those times when we find ourselves on a last minute adventure out in the sun.
