While plans have changed, and local easter egg hunts have been cancelled we can still enjoy our Eater activities and celebrations. A great way to do this is to put together a neighborhood Easter egg hunt while social distancing.
Now that social distancing is in full effect, and many states on a ‘shelter in place’ order we just have to be a little more creative with how we are going to do this. I refuse to let it get the best of us and being creative and planning activities for the kids is a must to keep their morale up, too!
After seeing the fun idea to color shamrocks and hang them in windows for St. Patrick’s Day I thought a creative neighborhood Easter Egg hunt would be great!
How can you put together a Neighborhood Easter Egg hunt while Social Distancing?
We are encouraging all of our friends and neighbors to color and decorate these Easter Egg templates on paper. Just print the template and use your imagination to color them!
Tape your colored Easter Eggs into your home windows for everyone to see and let the hunt begin!
The more neighbors you get involved with coloring the Easter Eggs, the more fun your hunt will be.
Get the family out for a walk or a bike ride through the neighborhood to hunt for the colored eggs!
Do you have any other ways you are encouraging creativity and community during this Pandemic?
