The paper plate wreath is a two step craft project since you will need to allow time for the paint to dry before adding any decorations. I suggest doing the painting one day and then decorating a second day.
You will first need to cut out the center of your paper plate with your scissors, to make the base for you paper plate wreath. Next you will have the kids paint their plate with the green paint.
Once the paint has had time to dry, you can decorate your paper plate wreath with any decorations you would like. We chose to put out a variety for the kids to choose from; pom pom balls, rhinestones, buttons, and ribbons. Make sure the glue on the decorations dry completely while laying flat, if the plate is hung too early the heavier items will slide down and fall off. They each created a wreath that was beautiful and unique to them.
