So my Pixi was playing with the ipad a few weeks ago and saw a post on how to “make curlies” using straws. I promised her we would try it and last night was the big night! She was so excited and it turned out so great that we just had to share with you all how to curl hair with straws!
This technique was very simple, and only took about 10 minutes to get all of them in.
Tips: We did this on dry hair, that was day old from washing. Part hair and curl in small sections away from the face. When all the straws are in, trim the ends to make them easier for sleeping on. I also sprayed them lightly with a finishing spray before bed.
Here they are once all the hair has been tied. She didn’t have any trouble sleeping on them and we took them out in the morning.
To remove the straws, untie them and pull down. Separate each strand by combing through your fingers and finish off with some hair spray.
