Kids crafts and activities are some of our absolute favorite things to do! Crafting with kids is a great way to foster creativity in young children, work on fine motor skills, develop new appreciations, and of course connect with the family.
Kids Crafts for All Ages
In our house we have 4 kids of all ages and have had fun entertaining and crafting with all of them. We have the Toddlers that need to be entertained while I’m getting dinner ready, crafts for tweens who love to be creative and make their favorite accessories or decorate their room, the boy who really doesn’t like to craft but still likes to make “cool stuff” that he can show his friends, and crafts for the preschool and elementary aged kids that are just learning.
Top Kids Activities
Getting the family together for fun activities is another great way to spend quality time together. Whether you playing board games, enjoying the backyard, or having fun in the snow you can make memories with the kids!
Holiday Crafts and Activities
Spending some time crafting through the Holidays and different seasons of the year is a great way to make gifts for family and friends or learn something new. Christmas crafts get a lot of attention but we really love all the holidays and seasons – Halloween Crafts, Valentine’s Day Scavenger Hunts, and Easter Activities – so much fun to be had with the kids at home and in the classroom!
Science Experiments for Kids
Science experiments are some of favorite learning activities. My kids really enjoy all things STEM/STEAM – that is Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Art. The possibilities for science experiments with kids are endless and can be added to lesson to fit any theme, season, or Holiday! We have enjoyed super fun spring science experiments, totally cool winter science experiments, and even candy experiments and science with pumpkins!
